Here is a list of some extra reading I have done during my project to familiarise myself with sound in media.
The articles include the importance of music in gaming, sound effects and sound design and an interesting article on contemporary sound design for the web.
I found that these articles helped me to gain a wider understanding of sound in the film and gaming industries and what effects sound can have on listeners as well as greatly improving the overall experience in film and games.
